Melt in your mouth vanilla shortbread packed with pecans and rolled in powdered sugar.
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1-2 cups finely chopped nuts, your choice.

Mix butter with sugar until light and creamy.
Add salt, vanilla, sifted flour, and nuts. Mix well
Shape into balls or crescents and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes in a 350 °F oven.
Roll cooled cookies in powdered sugar.
