Baked Buffalo Chicken Dip

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Servings 6 people
A five ingredient version of a game-watching classic that takes 30 minutes from start to finish.

Equipment

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 1.5 quart oven-safe casserole dish (an 8x8 glass baking dish will work too)

Ingredients

  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can chicken breast in water (10 or 12.5 oz cans will work)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/8 cup Frank's buffalo sauce (or to taste)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, ranch dressing and canned chicken.
  • Add as much hot sauce as you'd like. 1/8 cup = mild buffalo chicken dip.
  • Pour into oven-safe serving dish (casserole dish or baking dish)
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 mins. Mix again to incorporate all ingredients.
  • Serve with tortilla scoops or Frito's scoops

Notes

Feel free to swap out the canned chicken with boiled chicken. Boil chicken breasts until cooked through (about 20-25 minutes). Shred and then include in the dip.
You can also swap the ranch dressing for blue cheese. It will have a very strong flavor so I'd only recommend if you love blue cheese.
