Creamy, homemade banana pudding made with four simple ingredients.

Equipment

  • medium sauce pan

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup banana simple syrup

Optional Toppings

  • vanilla wafers
  • bananas
  • whipped cream

Instructions 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch. Pour in the milk and banana simple syrup and mix together.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat the mixture over medium heat, constantly stirring for 10-15 minutes or until the pudding becomes thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Pour the pudding into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and place in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Serve with bananas, vanilla wafers, or top with whipped cream.
